Well this is going to take me a long time to get this whole blog post done! Emily and Brooke were married in July. The planning took about 6 months but possibly had been occurring for 26 years? Where to start?
Should we start with the flowers? The dress? The venue? The Mass?
Well why don’t we start with the flowers and I will make some other posts with more wedding decorating ideas, dresses, plans etc. Here are some pictures of the bouquets and centerpieces at the reception.

I have to thank Heather from Cottage Flowers in Malvern, Pa. for her fabulous bridal floral designs. She totally made Emily’s and my floral dreams come true. She understood everything we wanted . She let us use so many of our own containers and hurricanes and candle holders etc. She worked around the other flower arrangements we ended up making for the outdoor tables and the other rooms in the inside of the reception venue. WE had Heather do all of the main flowers and bouquets because although Emily and I wanted to make them ourselves we knew that it would be crazy to attempt it. The flower arrangements we did make were just extras and we could have gone without them if we ran out of time right before the wedding.
Emily decided she wanted the draped garland idea on each layer of her cake. Brooke, her graphic designer husband photoshopped the idea on all three layers to show the cake designer. The topper is the one from my wedding to my husband in 1979!
